The Zinnias

They’re big. They’re colorful. They’re bright. They’re zinnias.

A couple of the neighbors have noticed the size, both asking what are they. They didn’t know zinnias can produce such large flowers. A packet of seeds probably cost between 25-50 cents. Also, they’re a very good attractant for butterflies and hummingbirds.

  1. My father planted a bed of Zinnias every summer. I was quite taken by their height and the lovely colors. There was a deep pink variety that I looked for every year. Thanks for sharing your Zinnias, David, they’re beautiful!
