Remembering September 11th

Tuesday, September 11, 2001 had begun beautifully. A gorgeous blue sky, without a cloud to be seen. The crisp morning air warming nicely.

Unlike that Tuesday, today began under cloudly skies. The morning air already warm.

Those early days of September 2001 is much like these early days of September 2012. Much of the news, the worries, almost seem to be the same eleven years later. Yet, it is very much different. That September morning is quickly becoming another footnote in history. The people who died that morning are becoming known only to their families and friends, and God.

The true sadness of September 11th would be if we should forget those who died on that bright, sunny morning.

May we remember them always. With a gorgeous blue sky, and a brightly shining sun.

May God bless them and their families. May God bless America.
