With the election of a new pope, Francis, a few photos of St. Mary’s Cathedral in Colorado Springs seemed to be in order …

About the photos -
The first three photos are courtesy of St. Mary’s Cathedral.
The window photo was taken on Easter Sunday 1992 using the Canon FTb 35 mm SLR using Kodak Gold film (ASA 200). The choir loft view was taken in Summer 2004 using the Canon FTb 35 mm SLR using Kodak Color film (ASA 200). A similar photo of the view from the choir loft, by another photographer, served as the cover of the weekly Sunday bulletin in 2012.
I love touring cathedrals and churches, even little country ones. Thanks for sharing this one with me! http://ohtheplaceswesee.com
You’re very welcome.
I’m behind on the news, I heard we have a new Pope but haven’t had time to read the details. There’s comfort for many in these ancient traditions. I like your new Pope theme – pretty!
Having traditions remind us of the constancy we all yearn to have. Thank you for your visit.
