Under blue skies and warmer temperatures, both red-winged blackbirds and mourning doves have taken to the heights of the taller trees in the neighborhood.



The few remaining after the others have taken flight to other trees …

Hanging out in the juniper tree, in our front yard, are the sparrows. They wait until it’s a bit warmer before they pop out.

They look like fragile ornaments on a Christmas tree. Pretty!
